Champions League Night Reactions: King Messi still punishing Arsenal and finally gets the better of Cech, Juventus with a never say die spirit

Beautiful football on display at the Emirates but only one man has the nerves to do the deal, only King Messi.

The Ballon d'Or winner was at his usual self as he punished Arsenal for their missed chances, after Chamberlain missed a sitter and Giroud opts to pass, when as a striker it is easier to shoot at goal, you don't have to feel sorry for Arsenal as they were the architect of their downfall.

But you have to applaud the Barcelona team for their relentless effort, as Neymar and Messi combined to put the hosts to the sword in the 71st minute with a swift counter-attacking football which meant Messi scored against Petr Cech for the first time in his illustrious career and again from the penalty spot after being tripped by Mathieu Flamini with his first contribution as a substitute and  twitter was not in forgiving mood;

Per Martesacker wasn't spared either, as Piers Morgan got in on the action;

Messi used to be trolled for not scoring against Petr Cech, see picture below;

But he finally did and he did it in style and when it mattered, although Cech can be excused because the 'Parking the Bus' mentality will never be adopted by Wenger.
Now Barcelona are in total control of the fixture with the return leg in three weeks at the Camp Nou.

In the other match of the day, Juventus stunned Pep and his Bayern army with two goals in thirteen minutes to keep themselves in the fixture.

Bayern had taken the lead through a Thomas Muller goal and  a brilliant, typical Arjen Robben cutting-in and curl goal in both halves respectively but failed to finish off the Old Ladies and paid for it in the 63rd minute when Dybala was sent through on goal by Pogba and he slotted the ball past Neuer and the twist of the day goal, a sub assisting a sub to put the host back in the game, fantastic stuff all round.

This simply puts the game out for any of the teams to take, with Bayern slightly with the advantage with two away goals.
