Fans unhappy on premier League snub of Price-Cap on away tickets

Thousands of Liverpool fans staged a walkout at Anfield during the 2-2 draw with Sunderland in protest against rising ticket prices.

Reds supporters were infuriated after it emerged tickets for home matches next season are set to be as expensive as £77 - the minute in which fans exited the stands, with the hosts leading 2-0.
That represents an increase of 30 per cent on the most expensive ticket and fans called for the first ever walk out at the famous old venue.

A disgruntled fan

Fans group Spion Kop 1896 slammed the club by saying: "Liverpool think it is acceptable to make more money than ever before from supporters."

Fans showed their frustrations before and during the game with a series of banners, flags and posters, with one reading: "A season ticket holder for over 30 years and you treat us like this. Walk out on 77."

Liverpool were 2-0 ahead through goals from Brazilian Robert Firmino and Adam Lallana.
After the walkout, Adam Johnson cut the deficit with eight minutes to go before Jermain Defoe's dramatic equalizer.
You have to feel for the fans, esp Liverpool fans.
