The New Logo?

Genius or Dumb?

Actually I had seen this flying around and I thought to myself, it's just new, most likely going to change. But now, I see it is for real, and it sure looks ordinary.
The Premier League has revealed its new visual identity for the 2016/17 season - and it looks very similar to the old visual identity.
From next season onwards the country's top tier will be known as 'the Premier League,' with no title sponsor.
The decision to overhaul the league's identity was taken as part of an agreement between Premier League clubs in July 2015 to move away from a title sponsorship model.
“From next season we will move away from title sponsorship and the competition will be known simply as the Premier League, a decision which provided the opportunity to consider how we wanted to present ourselves as an organisation and competition," said Premier League managing director, Richard Masters.
There had been some fear that the crowned lion would be dropped from the Premier League logo however DesignStudio, the company responsible for the new identity, says it was keen to maintain the animal which has adorned Premier League branding since 1992.
The league logo's new look has come under fire from a number of fans on Twitter who are less than impressed with the results of the re-branding.

And someone on twitter reacted...
