Manchester United were said to have contacted Mourinho's Super Agent Jorge Mendes to determine if the Portugese was considering returning to Inter Milan, according to reports.
Mourinho is expected to be in Italy to celebrate the success he enjoyed while in-charge at the club, and rumours have it that the super coach will be discussing a return with club co-owner Massimo Moratti in the process.
